I'm looking forward to going back and trying the food properly - but I didn't do badly with a stunning selection of Canapes and Cocktails. Bill Collison himself was there - I've got friends who live near #Lewes in Sussex where he's something of a living legend. Having started a small greengrocers which was flooded, he rebuilt, with a cafe on the side serving food made from his own produce. And it was a local sensation. The result is history - there are now restaurants right across the UK - even one in Glasgow. And, he hasn't stopped. He told me that the collection of bric a brac in Bills Covent Garden was all his own - and that now it was used up he needed to start collecting again!
