Take the express elevator to the very top of Selfridges and you’ll find yourself getting lost in a lemon grove. In one direction there’s a chic Italian restaurant, in the other, the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Garden, a relaxed and elegant space with parasols, beach huts and plenty of champagne where you can enjoy a glass or two and even order food from the restaurant next door if you get peckish.
