What better way to spend a lazy Saturday than indulging in #Brunch. At @coqdargent in the #CityofLondon they've launched a new #BottomlessBrunch - with delicious @moetchandon #champagne of course. And, just in case you thought it would be all about avo toast - you can enjoy entrees including cajun baby chicken, fish and chips, moules frites or whole grilled seabass. Delicious. I went along for the inaugural event last Saturday - its just £29.50 for three courses and £40 extra for unlimited champagne. This year for me has been one of discovering the Czech Republic. Although, I've only been there twice, I've already fallen in love. Firstly with #Brno, then with #Prague and finally with #Pardubice. These rooftops are unmistakeably Prague but taken from a secret garden - #Vrtba - a hidden gem of a Baroque walled garden from 1720 in Lesser Town (Mala Strana), rarely seen by visitors to Prague. I spent a happy day exploring some of the hidden gardens of Prague with a guide from insightcities who are largely academics with a passion for the heritage of the cities where they are based. This one, the first on our itinerary, was both stunning and fascinating for the political leverage that its owner hoped would result from building it. As they say, a luminous glimpse into life of nobility in the 18th century and the aesthetics of #Baroque landscaping. And, when you climb to the very top courtyard with its marine-themed grotto, you are also rewarded by this beautiful vista of Prague’s cityscape. I just need to share this dessert - the #Tartoftheday at @rotundalondon which is the brasserie style restaurant for Kings Place. It was 100% as delicious as it looks - stuffed with nuts in a deliciously spicy mixture. In fact, we really enjoyed our lunch at #RotunaLondon - we had gone along somewhat cynically to try the #Seasonal #Regional food that this restaurant like many in London now claims. For once the promise matched the reality - we feasted on Crab, an amazing Cote de boeuf, with bernaise sauce to share. And this tart with cornish clotted cream. I hadn't come across Kings Place - but was really impressed by what I saw at this Arts Centre - and I'd travel to Rotunda for the food alone - as well as being pretty happy to eat here before or after a concert. More from Anna's recent trip to India with #THEParkHotels to experience first hand the colourful sights and sounds of #IncredibleIndia. She visited #Kaligat to see the temple of the Goddess Kali, early on Thursday morning. Although it was the 'quiet' time to visit the temple the place was still busy, full of pilgrims. #Kali is considered the Goddess of time creation, destruction and power - she is the mother of the universe. The consort of #Shiva she is the carrier of souls and the goddess of war, often being associated with battlefields and warriors. She is perhaps the original Wonder Woman, given she carries a sword and a severed head in her two left hands whilst her right hands are held in blessing and showing her fearlessness. I really don't often post my own cooking on instagram - but I am quite thrilled with this #apple rose on a sherry sabayon sauce which I made for my #sherryweekblog entry. The iapple roses were all the rage with bloggers a couple of years ago - but at the time I watched in awe and never actually cooked them. As it turns out they are beautifully simple - spiced, mandoline skinny half moons of apple tucked into an envelope of puff pastry then baked in muffin tins. Mine was served with a simple sherry sabayon made with some of the cream #sherry I was sent for #sherryweek - and of course, I enjoyed another glass with my #dessert. If you didn't already know, cream sherry is a blend of #Oloroso and #PedroXimenez - a semi sweet wine that pairs perfectly with fruity desserts and with cheese - or, if you happen to be my Aunty - with mince pies while you watch the Queen's Speech on Christmas day! Anna from LondonUnattached is still in India - as a guest of THE Park Hotel for their 50th Anniversary Celebrations. It's a boutique hotel group that pioneered the design and #boutiquehotel industry in #India and we are excited to have moved on to beautiful #Hyderabad. These are the Qutb Shahi Tombs in the Ibrahim Bagh, close to the famous #GolkondaFort. They contain the tombs and mosques built by the various kings of the Qutb Shahi dynasty - started around 1543.
