Souq Waqif in the old part of Doha is the only remaining traditional standing market (souq) in the gulf. Whilst a tourist attraction in its own right, it is also a central daily shopping hub for many Qataris. It is a maze of narrow covered streets separated into areas specialising in different things. You can buy daily food, local fruits, clothes, and many items that are aimed at visitors. There are many restaurants and coffee bars to relax and watch the hectic world of the Souq go by. The area is also full of porters with wheelbarrows, who can take all your purchases back to your car. This is a great option as parking isn’t easy and often not close. @visitqatar #visitQatar #doha #visitdoha #fsdoha #souk #souqwasif #tbin #travelwriter #travel #instatravel #travelgram #wanderlust #ilovetravel #instatravelling #instavacation #travelblogger #instapassport #postcardsfromtheworld #presstrip #traveltheworld #igtravel #getaway #instago #travelpics #ttot #instatbn #writetotravel
