#AD One of my favourite places on a recent visit to Bath and Bristol was @HolbourneMuseumBath - a stunning Grade I listed building that was originally designed as a hotel on the edge of the Sydney Pleasure Gardens and built between 1796 and 1799. It became a museum to house the collection of Sir William Holbourne. Today it houses his fine collection of treasures from around the world including some very special Flemish art - and also runs special exhibitions. I managed to catch two - French artist Vuillard and the illustrations of Lauren Child. Of particular note is the pretty cafe at the back of the house, looking out onto the Pleasure Gardens - the modern extension is quite spectacular in its own right. #GoBathBristol #bath #holbournemuseum #discoverbath #city #architecture #architecturephotography #architecturelover #bathlife #kennetandavoncanal #georgiancityofbath #tbin #ttot #lovebath
